    Tests: Assert unsupported pattern directory requests.

    Replace empty `@doesNotPerformAssertions` stubs with checks that unsupported item and write requests return `rest_no_route` with status `404`. Use an authenticated contributor so permission errors cannot satisfy the assertions.
