    rem: dev: Remove the atomic_ptr() wrapper

    The wrapper has a single user and saves nothing over spelling out
    `_Atomic(type *)`.  Coccinelle cannot parse its definition, so the header
    costs the semantic patches a few lines of coverage for no benefit.
